Strategic Cooperation Between GES Engineering and Gürbağ Defense
Turkey Joins Forces in Reconnaissance and Surveillance Technologies
Within the scope of the IDEF 2025 International Defence Industry Fair, a strategic cooperation protocol was signed between GES Engineering Inc. and Gürbağ Defence and Technology Inc. regarding the development of new generation motion control systems for reconnaissance and surveillance fields.
The protocol aims to design and effectively utilize motion control systems offering high precision, durability, and reliability using domestic engineering capabilities. The systems to be developed will enable reconnaissance and surveillance missions to be carried out with high performance even in challenging field conditions.
This collaboration aims to make significant contributions to Turkey's localization efforts in the defense industry and its vision of technological independence.
Gürbağ Defence and Technology Inc. General Manager Batuhan BAĞIBAN stated the following at the signing ceremony:
“GES Engineering’s engineering expertise in its field and Gürbağ Defense’s expertise in control and guidance systems will be reflected as a strong synergy in the field through this collaboration. I wish this valuable partnership to be beneficial to our sector and our country, and I thank all the teams that contributed.”
GES Engineering Inc. Chairman of the Board Arzu BAYTAR said:
“This strategic partnership we have initiated with Gürbağ Defense is a concrete demonstration of our commitment to developing high-performance motion control systems with our domestic engineering power. We believe that this protocol will be an important turning point in our country’s defense technologies.”
With this strategic collaboration, Turkey will further advance its technological autonomy not only in the defense sector but also in civilian applications with high-precision motion control systems to be used in reconnaissance and surveillance operations.
